CBC is a church that desires to be engaged in the local community by sharing Christ lovingly. It is our desire, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to cultivate an environment at CBC where everyone is involved both personally and corporately in some aspect of inviting people to faith in Christ.
The local outreach committee is dedicated to facilitating our church family to meet the needs of their families, friends, neighbors and coworkers by equipping them with the ability to share the Good News of what Christ has done for us and by creating specific events to which people who are interested in spiritual things may come and hear that same Good News.
Additionally, we seek to partner with local ministries who are reaching out to our community. Those ministries include the
AAA Center for Pregnancy Counseling, the Open Door Mission, Release Ministries, and Good News Jail & Prison Ministry.
